Haiti was self-sufficient and had its own, native shoe-making business, among other cottage industries. Then the earthquake, and the NGOs swept in to "save them," and in a very few years, everything is broken. This isn't about blacks running their own affairs. This is about rich "liberals" moving in, paying themselves, and doing NOTHING to actually HELP. Corruption from top to bottom.
