@Bluepilled-c5t Exactly. The problem with democracy, itself, is that for long periods of time (decades), a nation can pretend there is no gap between its infinite wants and its finite means. "Cue the printing presses! We need another $100 billion!" Here's the thing about the majority: On the one hand, it must not be ignored. On the other, it must not be obeyed.

Then why doesn't it change? An American would like to know, because it's the same, here.

Milei absolutely gets economics, but yes, his confidence in the u.s. dollar is a bit misplaced. But you can see it's at least a better currency than what they have.

@davidrenton Nonsense. There will always be new jobs created. New services nobody knew they needed, as technology evolves. There are always more jobs needing done than people or resources to perform them. Jobs we couldn't imagine, yesterday. It has always been this way, and it only goes awry when the government gets too big and powerful.
