  2. I still think the character development was rushed and clumsily written, conferring the emotional maturity of a 6-year-old on Anakin Skywalker. I think they had these marvelous fight scenes and battle scenes in their minds' eye and the plot was a means to those spectacles, rather than the spectacle arising naturally from the demands of the plot. It's hard to put into words, but I just came away with "Was Anakin, the future arch-nemesis really this callow and immature the whole time? No wonder the Empire was so easily overcome by a kid who practiced on womp rats.

  3. I don't know. The story of the two warriors m.eeting, fighting it out, and becoming fast friends, like Robin Hood and Little John, is pretty standard stuff. The two cowboys who duke it out at the saloon and are pals for life. It's a good little story
