@ryanbarker5217 : I know I'VE always wanted to fetch up another Scarlett Johanssen from a parallel universe, seeing as the stupid one from this universe never returns my calls, letters, sky-writing signs, or IMs.

@cameronroy2129 : It doesn't matter how many superheroes there are, if there's a super-villain with powers of his/her own. And we've already seen pretty much all the archetypal stories. It doesn't mean we don't enjoy our archetypes. Boy meets girl never gets old. It's timeless. Settings change. Technology changes. But humans don't. The main problem I see is a bunch of arrested-development types, contorting reality in order to deliver that one ZINGER they always wanted to say, but the time just wasn't right. Couple that with a lot of currently-popular-on-Twitter themes that appeal to the 1% of the 1%, and you get a lot of awkward, forced, and just plain stupid writing. But these people think their themes are universal, and self-evident truths. Speaking of which, the USA's Founders kept their self-evident truths to a minimum, and made maximum impact. "All men are stupid" is not a self-evident truth. "All white men are stupid and evil" is not a self-evident truth.
