  7. Same. I was (painfully) slogging my way through Dad's Scientific Americans in the '70s and early '80s. As I grew in knowledge in college, more and more of it became clear to me, and I could actually understand a lot of it. I'm pretty sure the ideology started creeping in long before 2021.
