We need to re-define "liberal" and "left" as they were, originally: Liberty and limited gov't = left - The original/classical liberal stance Government intervention = right - No matter how much lipstick you slap on the socialist pig, it's still very much reactionary, dragging us back towards Absolute Rule of Kings. "We will care for you in every way. In return, you will obey us in all things (or else!)."

  3. Mussolini was an international socialist, to begin with. As a boy, he was never a joiner. If he couldn't be the leader, he wouldn't participate. Any socialist not on board with globalism is, by definition a nationalist socialist, i.e., Nazi!

  4. We need to quit conflating big-government socialism/fascism/social democracy and liberalism. Liberalism should in no way be associated with the forcible reallocation of resources by the state. The state should never be in position to pick winners and losers. That's regressive, not progressive, and yet, redistributionist schemes from the top, down, are what all "liberals" assume and insist is "liberal," which it isn't.
