  1. Weapons industry is like any other industry, except it's paid for by politicians, and therefore horribly corrupt. I wouldn't blame the companies. Without profit, they're unsustainable. It's the U.S. Government that wrote the rules on procurement. Weapons manufacturers are just adapting to that environment.
