  1. He pivoted away from free speech. He changed the subject. He was unresponsive to the question about compelled speech. Gender pronouns on housing applications is a non-sequitur response, plain and simple. He failed to provide a single instance of anything Peterson said that caused harm or made anyone unsafe. He might make mentally ill people feel unsafe, by asking questions or pointing out facts that contradict their world view. That's not Peterson's fault, nor is it his responsibility to craft his speech in such a way as to comport with the beliefs of every person in attendance, let alone any one person in attendance. This guy wants to exclude any speech that diverges from his ideology. Imagine the harm you cause a person who believes the Earth is flat, when you explain the Solar System.
