  1. Well, Moses was denied entry to the Promised Land due to hubris, so the comparison to Stacey Abrams isn't necessarily wrong. Recall, Moses had a way of using his staff to create springs for his people on their Exodus. One time he did it, he said "I did it" rather than "God did it." So God denied him entry to Canaan. At least that's how I remember my Sunday School...
