  1. They won't get Trump on Russian Collusion. But there ought to be something on his backtrail, as a real estate developer in Byzantine New York City. Dems are getting in their own way, by wasting time, energy and attention to the Russian-collusion red herring. Still, there may be nothing illegal they can pin on him. He STARTED with a lot of money and a lot of influence, thanks to daddy, and probably learned early on what kind of people, money and influence he needed to get things done in NYC, without getting his hands dirty.

You ask a guy to put his life on the line and turn around and say he's not old enough to have a beer? Not old enough to buy a firearm? That's just not right (and you'll find a lot of bars who will cater to underage military under the table).

  5. Trump was posturing. He knows that raising the age on rifles is a small thing. And by floating a trial balloon the NRA doesn't like, he marshaled them to do his arguing for him. Because of the media's hatred for him, they give his "critics" extra and extra-favorable coverage. It's amazing that MSM still leaps at his every utterance, when he's clearly just being a salesman jockeying for position by posturing one way and then the other. It's pretty transparent if you're not too close to it and motivated by animus. The MSM's "He means it! He's crazy! Armageddon!" probably helped bring bowl-cut to the bargaining table.

  6. As eager manipulators, the Russians may actually serve to help us root out the worst, most blatant corruption in Washington, DC, by the time the last Russian-collusion shot is fired. And more and more, it appears that the mop-up will entail sweeping Obama administration hacks into the prosecutorial net. Ironically, draining the swamp is probably a good thing for Russia. We're much less likely to do something really stupid. And much less likely to encourage stupidity in countries around the world, for the benefit of corrupt, entrenched elites. Hillary would, by now, have wrapped herself in the flag, the stern Empress at war with dangerous enemies, and the media would've eaten it up.

  7. Yes. And Russian might was wielded in the form of a very weak and ineffective troll farm, that was never very big and was anything but effective. They may've gotten a few more protests going in post-election hysteria. But that stuff has all petered out and they were a very small and impotent part of it. So we can agree the Russians do bad stuff and they are pipsqueaks. The Chinese are a bigger threat. The biggest threat is fiat currency and mounting debt.
