  1. There may be unconscious survival instincts in the left's lunatic policies. Without SOMEthing to shake people up, Europe was in a state of declining birthrate, with the end of Western Civ, as we know it, at the end of the current trendlines. It's sparked a revitalization and the immigrants inject some of the vigor that the natives seem to be lacking of late. Yeah, they're barbaric in many ways, but the Europeans were comfortably losing the will to survive, in a kind of secular depression.
