  1. Comey just strikes me as an archetypal climber. Make all the right friends. Join the right clubs. Never offend anyone. The quiet guy with the aw-shucks persona. You never expect the knife in the back when it comes. Of course, now he's "out" and so of course he publishes a book in nothing flat and then flames Trump to drive up his book sales. Comey's book is one I'll trust others to read and report on. I can't buy it in good conscience. I'll wait until more facts come out and let history decide on that baffling clown.

  3. I was brought up to be PROUD our elected officials were NOT royalty. But the aristocracy has slowly been growing over the years to take over everything. Trump's definitely one of the elites, but he lacks the graces of court, which I love. Anyway, milquetoasts sneering at him for being "nonpresidential" only increase my positive regard for the president, which I never expected, tbh. But the criticisms are mostly false or inconsequential. I'm sure there's real stuff to be critical of, but MSM has been taken over by partisan trivia-hounds.

  4. If they got Cohen on the Stormy Daniels thing, Cohen might proffer testimony on other matters to stay out of jail. If there's any dirt on Trump's back-trail, the Mueller phishing expedition is likely to turn it up. I don't like the fishing, but OTOH, I like the president to be under plenty of scrutiny. But let's be SMART in the scrutiny, which MSM have absolutely not been.

  5. I think the wave of "retiring" Republicans is also swamp-related. Maybe some guys been playin' a little fast 'n' loose who're hearin' footsteps. I'm to the point where if a Congressman runs more than twice or a senator more than ONCE, they're anti-American trough-drinkers, who need to move on, regardless of party affiliation.
