  1. C'mon, Huckabee. We knew going in that we weren't nation building. We KNOW how to do nation building. We did it many times over after World War II, with the Marshall Plan. It required a tremendous amount of resources and commitment to get that done. In Iraq, our plan stopped when Saddam Hussein was dead. We KNOW how much manpower it takes to pacify and rebuild. We've DONE it. But we totally half-assed Iraq, beginning, middle and end. The only bit we got right was the killing.
