  1. Don't reward blue-city malfeasance with MY tax dollars! You want to re-think public safety? Re-think the War on Drugs. Law enforcement isn't the answer to laws that are broken by millions every day. Addiction is a terrible thing. No doubt. But criminalizing a disease is not the solution. This is 90% of the reason law enforcement and poor communities are so much at odds. Brings out the most violent criminals and tempts law enforcement to be brutal and/or corrupt.
