  1. "Moderates" crossed the collectivist Rubicon decades ago. Ever since, being a "moderate" has been a matter of hiding where they want to take things, while taking incremental steps towards serfdom. Most don't even realize this is the path they're on. All they do is bemoan the lunatics giving leftism a bad name, while denying that the lunatics are simply taking their "moderate" philosophy to its logical conclusion.
