What the U.S. has done is bad, but it's actually following a tradition of European colonialism. Mucking about in the Middle East is so VICTORIAN. That shit ain't good, but it's not like it's spearheaded by the U.S. To the extent that the U.S. DOES push things towards violence, the U.S. is wrong. If ANYbody has a shot at ending that imperialist bullshit, it's Donald Trump. We THOUGHT that was what we were getting when Obama was elected, but after his "world apology tour," he was just like all the rest, dropping more bombs in the Middle East than George Bush!

Every time they drag their feet on documents, it turns out those documents have nothing to do with national security and everything to do with embarrassing a handful of clowns in the Obama administration. These guys got used to operating a shadow police-state government within our government. It's gone on a long time, and they got away with it, because they crushed whomever they targeted, and nobody gave a shit, because they were using it against people without a voice. But they turned that same weaponized system against somebody who could fight back, and they've been rolling around in the gutter, locked in battle, ever since. I think Trump's the perfect antidote, because he can beat them at their own game.
