  1. Yes, David Johnson. When I want to see a piece about another celebrity drug addict, I'll turn on Entertainment, Tonight (i.e., NEVER). Being able to read a script and follow a director's orders doesn't qualify you as an authority except reading out loud and following orders.

  2. Part of bringing people together is to relentlessly fire back at your detractors. It's a target-rich environment for Trump. The vast majority of people appreciate plain speech and common sense. The left, with their fake sophistication, would probably gasp in shock and horror if Trump used the wrong fork at a 5-course meal. Most Americans don't give a flying leap about the niceties. Let the elites clutch their pearls. The REGULAR people who make everything and keep everything running LOVE it.

  3. Simple declarative sentences, repeated 2 or 3 times is an excellent way to reach a very broad audience. It plants memes that stubbornly refuse to go away, and half the time make his critics seem vapid pearl-clutchers straight out of Victorian England, when they go after him for it. Also, the act of criticizing him forces them to REPEAT what he said, or better yet, broadcast clips from his rally speeches! PERFECT! Damned if they do and damned if they don't! Elites hold such speech in scorn, but it's the lingua franca of the nation.

That's "real." I think it just speaks to your living in unreality and projecting your unreality on others, including blacks.

  6. People diss Trump for not missing an opportunity to fire back. But an ugly truth of politics is taking the high road and NOT responding always leads to fail. Calling out Lebron is confrontational, and riles people up against him, but it's all part of widening the conversation. Already seeing black conservatives siding with Trump. The fact that the leftie media is once again uniformly critical of Trump, they're actually serving Trump's ends, by putting this particular thing more fully in the public eye. When people do their own research - and Trump's provoking many opponents to go digging for the perfect zinger - they end up coming out more Libertarian and less Dimocratic.
