  2. There's a LOT of incompetence. Politicians know how to climb and stay on top, but they don't know much else. CIA and FBI are better at covering their incompetence than they are at their actual jobs. This is pretty universal in government, which is why our founders limited the size and scope of the swamp in the first place, and politicians have done their utmost to EXPAND its role and scope, for glory, power, and wealth.

Legacy media backstop Democrats at all levels of government and all levels of government backstop legacy media, each lending the other a credibility and popularity neither deserves or possesses. Same with entertainment, especially late-night "comedy," where the punch lines aren't even funny but are just Democrat talking points their Democrat audiences applaud.
