  1. When they made those speeches, a few years back, it was probably to get another big amnesty going, and then letting the enforcement measures stall, as planned. They've been doing bait-and-switch on immigration for decades. Make the problems worse. Use worsening problems as an excuse to weaponize police against the citizens. Blah blah blah.
