My entire life, since I became politically aware, I've listened to Democrats and said "Well, you're half right." I've listened to Republicans and said "Well, you're half right." And without fail, the compromises they hammered out were achieved by implementing the halves of each side's positions that I felt were wrong. "Big government is bad and we need to quadruple our military spending." "Big government is good and we need to quadruple our domestic spending." What's the compromise? Bigger government and more military spending.

@ctyson8182 Did you know that Adam Schiff committed slander AND libel on the floor of the House of Representatives and it was perfectly legal? The ONLY thing you can get in trouble for saying in Congress is something bad about another member, whether it be true or NOT!!!

The Voting Rights Act of 1965 marks the end of Jim Crow. It ONLY applied to a handful of states where voter suppression was clearly present, when segregation was just starting to end. For him to claim this is the same country as it was in 1965 is BLARNEY. We made an exception to the Constitution that it is time to end. This is a very disingenuous argument being made by him, Democrats and many Republicans, who are terrified of being called "racist." Meanwhile, the Dems want the feds to run EVERYthing, so they can operate the entire nation by remote control from Washington, DC. This is the last thing I want, and the last thing Democrats should want, because as soon as they mess things up - which is inevitable - it will be Republicans running the entire nation by remote control from Washington, DC. This is ALL about winning TODAY, with total disregard for our children and grandchildren.
