In the end, they were pinning their hopes on obstruction of an investigation with no predicate, initiated for purely political reasons by politicized, status-quo agencies Trump was elected to clean up. It doesn't matter what you think of Trump. People broke the law to sabotage his presidency, and by extension, thwart the will of the people. That's as un-democratic as you can get. Also undemocratic is the rabid resistance to verifiable election results, voter verification, and transparency at all polling and counting sites. It's very un-democratic to not want the election laws to be followed. What new crisis this year or 2 years hence, will muddy the election waters? When will the Democrat Party change its name?
