  2. Just by being in operation, there's always a decent chance that Mueller can turn up something damaging. Any investigator worth his salt, with a big budget and wide discretionary powers, can usually find something to hurt just about ANYbody. That's the concern for Trump as it was Bill Clinton's concern. But Bill had a lot of predatory behavior on his back-trail that even the broad investigatory powers that Ken Starr had couldn't quite find anything that'd stick. There's nothing to find in the main investigation. That's pretty clear. But these guys, once they're in power, can follow just about any leads they want to just about any sort of misbehavior, from birth to present.

  3. Heh. Interesting narrative, Bob Judd. About the only thing that would cause Trump problems from the Mueller quarter would be firing him. Anti-Trump partisans have been hoping Trump would do this, from Day 1. And the longer Mueller operates, the more obvious it becomes that Russian Collusion has been a fake story, from Day 1, and the more major news media are discredited. They've been uncritically spreading whatever the least principled insiders in Washington leak to them for generations, but what they say and what the people can see are finally getting so far apart that mainstream media are losing all credibility.
