  2. The DNC selected him and rammed through his nomination and election. Anyone with a clue knew that what they were running on was only good for winning that one election, but anyone tied to their platform was going to be dog meat in 4 years. That's why they didn't put up any serious candidates. All the serious candidates knew that signing on to the 2020 platform was political suicide, but it helped Joe more than it hurt him to have his pals running the executive branch. No interest in his extortion of the Ukrainian government, the firing of the prosecutor investigating corrupt oligarchs (with ties to the Biden family), ex-intel officials (51 of them) attesting to "all the hallmarks of a Russian disinformation effort" in reference to the Hunter Biden laptop, which we all know was legit and the FBI made no attempt to set the record straight.

  3. Joe manufactured a bump in the economy with massive (deficit) spending on industries he could then point to as "enjoying great success." That's the thing. You can always point to the successes, but the harm that is being done, system-wide, is not something that shows up on the balance sheet, even though there're millions affected. But the millions affected know the difference between rain and somebody pissing down their backs. @marthell6159
