  1.  @Verick.  It's none of the federal government's business. The way we do food, nowadays, is unhealthy and the agencies governing such matters are incompetent and corrupted by big business lobbies.

Food quality has gone DOWN because of regulations and crop subsidies that force farmers to farm in unhealthy ways, via chemicals and GMO crops. You should read up on "regulatory capture" and ask yourself if all these regs you seem to love are actually serving the people or not. I'd say not.
