  2. I think the corruption works on both sides of the aisle, for sure. Or things would look a lot different than they do. Republicans and Democrats have been hand-in-glove on the unchecked growth of government.

  3. I've had a number of liberals send me to snopes to settle an argument. They do seem pretty uniformly on the Democrat side of the facts.

  4. Never been a huge fan of McCain's, myself. Didn't care for his voting record. Neoliberal/neoconservative establishment, big-government kind of guy. And it sounds like he would've been court-martialed for his prank that got people killed on an aircraft carrier, if not for having his father in high command position. But it sounds like he was stand-up in POW camp, even though there are some competing claims made here and there about that, too.
