  1. Anywhere outside the metro areas was slow to enforce mandates, if they enforced them at all. An hour out of Denver, you'd think nothing had changed. It was only IN Denver (and a few other liberal cities in Colorado) that the NPC programming really dominated. Other Western states were similar.

  3. School choice is a step in the right direction, but we should get the taxpayers out of it, eventually. Yes, it benefits society to have the little rug rats educated, but for the best product for the best price, you want the people choosing the product to bear the full cost and enjoy the full benefit. That's when you get the best product for the lowest price. School vouchers, if they're equal to the amount spent per pupil by the government, will not make parents too choosy about cost, but at least they'll be choosy about quality. Now, they have no choice.
