  1. Actually, there's more nuance to it. And a lot of conservatives really liked what she was doing, and are tired of race-baiting. It's a sore point. And yeah, she was utterly tasteless. But you and others make it seem like not only did she say something stupid and intolerant, but she committed blasphemy. The outrage is out of proportion to the deed.

  2. Her comment didn't bother me, although it was utterly tasteless and raunchy. ABC is only rational in firing her. I'm glad she said it, because that's what the court jester is for. To test the limits, to EXCEED the limits. But the jester used to get a free pass to say outrageous things. This is no longer the case in PC America.
