  1. That's impossible. Everybody's got an axe to grind, from the publisher of the local newspaper who's pissed off at the sheriff for the DUI he gave their kid, to the owners of NBC, CBS and ABC. And that's OK . We just need there to be a free competition between all of them. The Founding Fathers didn't write the 1st Amendment for "fair and balanced news." They wrote it so that partisans of ALL stripes could be heard - especially the ones the establishment hates! And back in those days, nobody kidded themselves that ANY outlet was anything BUT biased. But you knew what their bias was, you compared what they said to what their opponents said, and you compared BOTH to what you understood about the world around you. It wasn't perfect. It'll never be perfect. But it's better than only hearing one side.

  3. Donald Trump offends the left-establishment in exactly the same way Americans have offended old-world aristocracies since the U.S.A. was first conceived. How DARE we elect PEASANTS to office? How DARE we elect MERCHANTS, mere COMMONERS to power? They don't even know what fork to use or extend their pinkies when sipping tea! Some of them even GULP their tea! THIS CANNOT STAND. We've bred up our OWN aristocratic forms and our own self-styled aristocrats, and they're offended by Trump MAINLY because he's unapologetically AMERICAN, with all his warts on full IDGAF display. And it drives them NUTS! And Trump's abrasive style is why he's where he is. He's speaking for people who respect keepin' it real.
