  1. I don't always agree with Hanson, but this is an apt description of what's going on. Bottom line: I have a walled estate, so what do I care about security of the national border? The fact that so many live in abject poverty a stone's throw from these super-rich, media-censoring fat cats in Silicon Valley just proves how messed-up California is and how malign those bigwigs in social media really are. Easy to be left-wing, when you're untouched by the policies you promote. Easy to be left-wing when you're one of the elites lording it over the rest of us, which left-wing/socialist governments ALWAYS have. They're the new aristocracy, and they'll get theirs, regardless. They profit by making us serfs. They profit by importing serfs from abroad. Disgusting people. Not the serfs. The freaking would-be lordlings in their ivory towers.
