  1. Part of it IS deliberate disinformation promulgated by the Trump team. It's one of their strategies for exposing leakers inside their own house. So when you hear it's from a Trump "insider" it can very easily be something planted on one of Trump's circle to see if it DOES make its way into the public domain. If it does, it tells Trump he's got a leaker and a liar in his camp. And it's a black eye for the media outlet who passed it along on the word of an anonymous leaker. It's how Tyrion Lannister figured out that Grand Maester Pycelle was Queen Cersei's spy on his inner council. The fact that these news outlets are getting caught out, time and time again is on THEM. It's obvious what their biases are and their credibility is totally shot.
