Binger tried to make Rittenhouse's refusal to speak without a lawyer present against him in court, which is a HUGE no-no, and grounds for an immediate mistrial and sanctions on the state's attorney, including but not limited to termination and disbarment. Flynn was clearly set up. The FBI agents who informally questioned him didn't think he was trying to mislead. He got a few facts wrong, but getting less than a perfect score on a memory test is not lying. It's just getting some things wrong. Going after him on FARA ground was also a put-up job. He did everything he could to comply with the rules, but they found a technicality to put him wrong, regardless. If he was guilty of violating FARA, then half of Washington, DC was guilty.
