  1. Yes, it's dangerous to put so much power into the hands of the president. That's just one more reason the Constitution intended the federal government to be SMALL and LIMITED. The idea was that legislative, executive and judicial branches would have an uneasy balance of power, in perpetual tension, not that the permanent staffers of the government should hold dominion over legislative, executive and judicial branches.
