I care less about individual prosecutions than I care about the truth and reform (elimination?) of the kangaroo FISA courts, which basically gives law enforcement the power to violate the U.S. Constitution and deny citizens due process. We gave our guys too much power, the power got abused, and now we need to dial it back. It took their using those extraordinary powers for their own parochial/partisan ends against a major figure to finally get Republicans to get all noble about corruption, but I don't imagine any administration would've avoided the heady bouquet of unlimited surveillance capabilities. Those guys must've felt omniscient, and most probably thought they were doing God's work. Still, it's appalling to see the degree to which Obama's people weaponized the tools of state against their political foes.
