I think a lot of kids would benefit from self-paced, remote learning. Teacher facilitating with expertise in the content area, but giving lectures every day to everyone at the same time is pretty obsolete. Most kids would learn more, faster, going at their own pace, watching professionally-produced video content, with a live person to answer any questions the student can't find for themselves. People are comforted by the old ways, but one-size-fits-all-and-at-the-same-time is not very efficient. But we're still very new to this, as a species.
