  1.  @BamBam-th5fk  : It's so ironic. They dreamed about taking over The System and they succeeded. Only they BECAME what they originally rebelled against in the process. They rebelled against power and thought only how to obtain that power. The point was to take the power out of those institutions in the first place. Trim 'em down to the bare minimum the constitution grants them and no more. Bad enough keeping track of corruption in the military budget, let alone the abuses that take place across all agencies, all arms of the octopus.

  3. So, be more loyal to the people we use as our proxies whenever it suits us? This is the temptation. To compromise our principles in order to gain advantage over a bigger foe. I get it. It's just no way for a country to be operating, even though the short-term advantages are clear. What these imperialist chessplayers don't seem to understand is that these kinds of tactics turn EVERYbody against us, and we're caught in a never-ending cycle of violence, intimidation and reprisal. That's no way to live. No way to operate. But imperialists just see the economic or strategic advantages to be "won."
