But let's put the kid on ritalin, because then we can make him sit in his seat for 6 hours, to save the baby-sitter - er, ah, teacher - some hassle. Public schools need a paradigm shift. One-size-fits all and herding our kids into one central location to be bored, together, isn't education. It's free day care that costs a lot of money and our kids come out of 12th grade ignorant of a LOT of basic facts.
