  2. The president is tasked with defending the nation. Our border is a key feature that defense. Congress wants to spend endless money on the military, but isn't interested in national security. New weapon system? Keep their bases open in key districts? All for it. Actually do something sensible? Not in my lifetime.

  3.  @JohnMedeiros  : A million people making $25 donations is far stronger than any one donor. That's why we have PACs and that's why the IRS went after the Tea Party under Obama. Political action committees make it possible for your $10 to count, when it is added to everybody else's small donation and thrown into one big pot.
