  1. It's always been political. It was just easier to hide that from us when there were only 3 or 4 broadcast networks and a handful of major print-media outlets. A couple of phone calls and the story never gets out. NOW, there thousands of independents out there, with as big or bigger platforms than CBS, and the dam has burst. NOW, they're just saying "If we can't hide it, at least we can still flex!" Seriously, the extremes to which they're going, now, signals one of two things: 1. They're desperate to maintain power they think is in danger. 2. They think they're close enough to the finish line to remove the mask. I lean towards #1. It looks to me like a last-ditch attempt to crush opposition and dominate the new media like they dominate the legacy media. They've had the legacy media tamed since Roosevelt.

  2. I don't know about disbanded. But DEFINITELY need their wings clipped! Strict limitations on their activities and stiff penalties for all participants and supervisors caught doing shenanigans. If you or I pulled HALF the nonsense Comey and company pulled, we'd be UNDER the jail.

  5. I have no respect for the leadership or the rank and file who remain silent. They all took an oath to defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If they don't say anything, they're just as bad as the leadership. But they're more concerned about their careers.
