  1. Rowe-v-Wade should be struck down. Let the legislatures decide. I think there's a big majority that would support abortion, with some restrictions. Yes, there is a regressive "Have big families!" doctrine (dogma) in Catholicism, because the Church Hierarchy want MORE CATHOLICS for their own selfish (basically political) aspirations as an institution. The Church had no problem being woven into the fabric of the temporal government, when it had the opportunity as the 'majority religion.' We definitely don't want that. But being guided by your religion's respect for life is not a bad thing. And taking legal abortion up to the moment of birth, without restriction, is legalized infanticide: a holocaust of our own making, if somebody doesn't tap the brakes on the Democrats' absolutism on the subject.
