Some of my best friends are libtards. Probing their beliefs I see a strange mix of good intention and contempt for fellow humans. At root, they believe government NEEDS to run everything, because people are idiots. The screw is loose in believing that elected and appointed officials aren't from that same species of idiots, and it's OK to give them power over everybody else on everything. They are unable to see the consequences of their world view as it plays out in reality. Using force to make everything right just makes everything more wrong in the long run.
