  1. Carville is a political analyst for Democrats. You'll never hear him predict a landslide loss for Democrats before an election. That, in itself, would be political ammo for the Republicans. I think he was the originator of the "triangulation" strategy, where you run left during the primaries and then run toward the right after you win the nomination. His downfall was his craving for attention. He's very calculating and very obnoxious. Not a good look for any party.
