  1. Foreign MDs in UK aren't DEI. They're the result of driving all the native English talent out of the NHS. Someone from India thinks it's great money and a great system. Nobody born in England wants to go through all the training just to be an underpaid government flunky, instead of a respected, prosperous healer.

  2.  @CatsInHats-S.CrouchingTiger  You gave over the authority and responsibility for the most important service to government bureaucrats. There will always be staffing shortages, pressure to certify incompetents as competent, funding shortfalls, flight of talent, etc. Health care is a product and a service. It should be treated as such. As such, the government needs to butt out and make the health care providers answerable to their customers, not the government or Big Pharma.
