  2. I'm not sure I believe this is a thing. But I can see where paintball could be like counting coup between warriors of competing tribes. Counting coup actually did save lives in an otherwise lawless situation, where two or more tribes were in a more or less constant state of war. You get the drop on somebody and let 'em go, maybe they choose not to go against you for real. Life has endless possibilities. Death has but one.
