Put a cap on SALT deduction, so cities couldn't rob the countryside for bloated budgets; Fought for secure borders; Didn't buy into regime-change foreign policy; Recognized Afghanistan was a quagmire that was only beneficial to defense contractors and crony capitalists; Understood the current realities of our security landscape, not some outdated, 1947, empire-that-pretends-it's-not-an-empire world view. He created opportunities by cutting taxes in distressed areas, and jobs exploded. Record black employment numbers. But I forget myself. This is a muh-Russia channel. Robert Mueller's got the goods. Really? Inflation is transitory because of a chip shortage? What a joke. Our government spends money it doesn't have. Democrats want to buy votes with money they don't have, so they want to print money (reducing its value) and put guys like Thom Hartmann on to shill for Democrats, while IGNORING government's INSANE SPENDING.

I just went and watched the segment. His point was that making race and gender your main criteria is not a good idea, and is very tribal. He's stretching a point, just like Thom Hartman is always stretching his points. The top comment among his viewers was that surely there is a qualified person of that description but that making it the main qualification for the job is not a good idea.

This ain't close to Scopes. It's about socialist ideology and identity politics being taught as fact. Non-science being taught as though it's science, in spite of all the great science that's been done in evolutionary biology in the last 30 years. "Truth before facts?" Really? That's what's being taught. I agree that it's wrong to lie to kids. And the schools are lying. They're broadening the racial divide. This guy is offering nothing but straw-man arguments, and using a fringe phone caller to characterize everybody who thinks the identity agenda is divide-and-conquer ideology that's JUST like what Hitler and Stalin did. And calling people who resist it fascists. It's easy to dismiss the phone caller, without ever addressing the core issue. Ibram X Kendi (sp?) is pushing division. Anti-racism is the new racism. But don't listen to me, because my skin is the wrong color. Go ahead and bring back segregation, because in your twisted world view, it HELPS. It doesn't. It's Jim Crow 2.0. No surprise. Republicans had to fight Democrats to pass civil rights in the '60s. Democrats just shifted narratives but they're pushing the same exact 2-tiered society and telling everyone it's "equity." Since when can't a person of color do math? Since Democrats took over the entire education system, and give black kids the worst possible education, while spending more on inner city schools than ever before! Give ME that $15,000 a year to educate a kid and he'll be ready for college by age 15. Give it to Baltimore Public Schools, and chances are good, they won't be reading a grade level, let alone doing math at grade level. But go ahead and listen to Thom if it confirms your bias. I'm sure it'll help you sleep at night. People like him are basically telling you that black kids are stupid, which they're NOT. They just need to break free of the condescending "white savior" attitude of so-called "liberals" who dominate all these conversations. And don't let these conservative phone callers trick you into thinking it's a choice between Democrats are fringe right-wingers. There're a lot of people who are of neither party who despise what the establishment is doing to our children and calling it "science."
