  5. I just went and watched the segment. His point was that making race and gender your main criteria is not a good idea, and is very tribal. He's stretching a point, just like Thom Hartman is always stretching his points. The top comment among his viewers was that surely there is a qualified person of that description but that making it the main qualification for the job is not a good idea.
