@57thorns Every nation in history was carved out and defended by force. smh

More tactics without regard for strategic situation.

I think these "victories" by Ukraine side only bleeds them, more, without putting any dent in Russian force structure. These small probing attacks by Russia cost them little and maintain unrelenting pressure on Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Western nations who played on and with Ukraine to 'poke the bear' are tiring of this particular game, and their people are sick and tired of spending billions of borrowed dollars on unjust, self-created wars. When the outside money runs out, the parody of a government in Kiev will collapse overnight.

@CEDFTW Expansion of NATO and Maidan Coup caused this conflict.

The minutiae of skirmishes doesn't address the strategic situation, which, for Ukraine, is quite bleak.

Russians don't play chess? What planet are you from?
3
We don't pronounce the 'p' at the end of 'coup.'

NATO can't afford a war. Russia prepared for one.

I love hopium channels. It's sad and funny at the same time. Very poignant.
2
How sad for all these towns to be the site of soldiers' death struggles in a game devised and run by psychopaths.

Wonderful high-paying jobs devoted to destruction. Marvelous! And it's not American taxpayers who are paying for it. It's future generations, as U.S. Debt approaches $35 trillion. We're going to owe more than the entire economy produces in a year. That's never happened in all of U.S. history. When are you going to wake up and realize that our leaders don't care about any people anywhere, except themselves and their cronies.

Freudian slip.

What a crap "topographic map."

LOL! There are plenty of pro-Ukraine comments. If anything, YouTube makes it hard for people who want peace to be heard. It's all "You're evil and you're losing" "No, YOU'RE evil and YOU'RE losing!"

@peterrasmussen4428 For a super-power, with all its manufacturing intact, the losses suffered by Russia are pinpricks and training. Meanwhile, Ukraine is one missed aid package from total collapse. I think the value of tanks in modern warfare is far less than it once was. I see burning tanks, not obliterated tanks. We'll have to wait and see how eager either side is to salvage them. To my eye, there will be one probing attack too many and the Ukrainians will be out of drones. I think they're getting better drones than the Russians, but there's a very limited supply of them. I don't know what people know about the American people's sentiments but a growing number are sick and tired of war for the benefit of corrupt oligarchs in Ukraine and the West. Leaders are totally out of touch with the wants and needs of the public, and an undeniable groundswell of disgust is building. the Bidens are spending money on killing Russians but are stealing from the poor and middle class back at home. The funding for the proxy war in Ukraine is about to run out, and Ukraine will collapse. This is how it always goes with the u.s. state department and NATO, and the countries that fall under their evil influence.

@The_ZeroLine They don't have the money to increase military spending and manufacturing the kinds of arms needed.
1
LOL! You can't squeeze water out of a stone! Their artillery production is far below the levels required to make any difference to Ukraine, other than getting more people killed. The amounts of arms sent since the beginning has been orders of magnitude too little to have a strategic effect on the outcome. Russia is producing more artillery shells by something like a factor of 2 or 3 than the combined production of all of NATO. And their lead in production is growing. EU and USA are in self-inflicted economic ruins. They've out-sourced all of the industries they need to support what they seem to think they can do, which they can't.
1
That's what we say when we're out of artillery, too.
1
Ukraine is fighting for the oligarchs and the CIA. Europe's economies are in self-inflicted ruin. The resources aren't there. And when American money runs out, Ukraine will collapse. It's already a wholly-owned subsidiary of the USA, which explains why they've suspended elections in Ukraine, the shining beacon of democracy that it isn't.

@neferpoyaz4037 These pro-Ukraine channels all are whistling past the graveyard, while Ukraine, itself, is in utter ruins. Without billions of dollars from America, and soon, Ukraine folds like a cheap tent, and people with their eyes open see this and they also see all the Western countries are broker than broke.

LOL!
1
@bluedistortions That's a straw man argument. Russians are in it for the long haul.
1
@kaloustaphae If we don't defend ourselves, we can't help others, dummy.
1
Actually, the British and the Romans did a lot of that.
1
@gameburn178 Yes. Armored formations are just targets if you don't have control of the skies.

Russia's fighting-retreat tactics against offensives do rely on melting away before the Ukrainians, slowing them down, and meat-grinding their advanced positions with artillery. All this reporting is scarcely more than skirmish level. The strategic situation for Ukraine and its NATO allies is very bad. Reading between the lines of both sides' propaganda, it does sound like the precision guidance of NATO weapons is more precise. Also, Ukraine is paying a heavy price for fighting military doctrines based on combined arms with air superiority, which they do not have. They're improvising, but it's starting to look more like a rump state than a sovereign nation.
1
Wake me up when the Ukrainians actually reach Russia's fortified lines. You're reporting skirmishes like they're the Battle of Kursk.
