Take every source with a grain of salt. TIMES OF INDIA uses stock footage to punch up its productions. Filtering that out, we have a report of ATACMs and Storm Shadows being destroyed. We hear stories, here and there, of ATACM systems being destroyed. The West can't afford to have these systems destroyed. They cost far too much. Even if discounting 50% for claimed systems destroyed, they're taking a big bite out of what's available. These systems cost a lot of money and they can't make them very fast. You kind of have to read between the lines, because everybody reporting has an axe to grind. Different axes. Different spin. Split the difference.

America is a beacon of democracy, because our "leaders" abhor the republic! Democracy is 2 wolves and a sheep voting on the dinner menu. America was always a representative republic, but we've voted away most of our liberties in the name of false security and entitlements even our great-grandchildren won't be able to pay for.

Probably exaggerated, but the underlying fundamentals are pretty on-target. The weakening on the Ukrainian side is becoming more and more evident. Meanwhile, Russia is rolling out more missiles and glide bombs. The doctrine behind Patriot was to prevent a nuclear first-strike, not to repel thousands of cheap missiles and glide bombs armed with conventional munitions. Soon, all sides will have the capability to overwhelm any air defense. Back to mutual assured destruction, only by conventional means, perhaps.

I hope this becomes a movement. We need more "regionalism" (localism) and less centralized power, where 1 guy or a handful of guys can ruin an entire nation. Limit what the central authorities can do and operate locally.
