Every accusation they make comes from what's in their own heads. They know how they think and how they behave, and they project those thoughts and behaviors on everyone else, like a career criminal who's sure everybody around him is trying to steal from him, because that's what HE would do.

@Chuckles.. I had a boss who shared "confidences" that were lies, just to test me, like Tyrion Lannister. He never heard one of those lies come back to him, and after a year or so, I had his complete faith and trust. Anything he told me in confidence never went any further. I think the Trump admin needs to do some of this, to flush out the remaining Obama acolytes.

When it comes to Congress, it's because of their rules. The only thing a Congress member can't say is anything bad about another Congress member. But in general, it's because lying isn't a crime. It's a sin. Some people (most) seem to prefer a lie that makes them feel better than the brutal, harsh truth.

That's why we're currently winning. The authoritarian left is balkanizing, while the MAGA umbrella only broadens. The divide-and-conquer strategy has left the Democrats divided and defeated. It's like Europeans' economic sanctions against Russia: The more they sanction, the worse their economies get.

There are a lot of feeble-minded wishful thinkers out there. They'll remember the sensational headline, and never pay attention to its refutation. Then there are the people who knowingly repeat the lie after it's been debunked, like Obama still going on about Charlottesville "Good people on both sides" remarks by Trump.

Maybe it can't do your voice because you put on a fake tone half the time, trying to be dramatic. It's a big turn-off, by the way.

It HAS gotten more dangerous in the USA, now that the party of violence is out of power and seeking to crank up the terror tactics, like they did in 2015 and ever since, except for 4 years of Biden, where the Dems stopped funding riots and terror threats. The chaos served the Dems well for a number of years. Now we're in the "blowback period." No telling how long it'll last. Some people have just checked out and will never fall for their BS again, so it might be long-lasing.

For me, it's the fake drama in his tone. You can tell he's just winding it up for sensationalism and drama, but it's totally put-on and not authentic.
