  2. The more government does, the more government is obliged to do, because government action erodes the power and self-responsibility of the individual. The LESS government does, the less government is obliged to do, because the PEOPLE cope with MOST of their problems, WITHOUT ANY HELP. We've lost sight of that, trying to make life totally foolproof for all, which is to say, we're breeding a society of fools!
