  1. Media have always been partisan. It's the whole point of the 1st Amendment. We FORGOT that in the 20th Century, when the government made rules that supposedly ensured the news would be objective. LOL! Since WW II, at least, the major networks have been hand-in-glove with Washington insiders. They trade access to the highest offices for reporting pleasing to them. In entertainment, the Fandom Menace calls it "access media." All the juiciest insider stuff in Hollywood comes from media outlets who are all buddy-buddy with Hollywood insiders. Insider access gives you a real competitive advantage with other outlets.
